What is "The Event"?

I guess this trailer is all you need to know about "The Event" right now.

A "jigsaw", "post 9/11", a "mix of 'Lost' and '24' minus the madness"... Any other obvious remarks after the premiere? Here at ikono labs we were watching the pilot of the most anticipated new TV show of 2010 without too many expectations or any prejudices.

Flashbacks again? Another plane? We hope the answer wont be aliens, zombies or time travelling! If you cut the fake myth and the very bad CGI, you could do some storytelling and this one could actually be a surprise winner. Please surprise us!
